Beautiful location near to the two ferries from Oban, the overall look of the structure and the magnificent castle, it's remote. Very friendly and attentive people are working. No complaints whatsoever, we would definitely book here again when in Kilchoan.

The landscape around this hotel was breathtaking. It was really peaceful and quiet, with stunning views. The building itself was very interesting, with a great deal of historical significance. The best part, though, was the dinner. The food was absolutely top-notch. The chefs used local ingredients and were very innovative. It was an eight-course tasting menu, and every dish was amazing.
The downside to this hotel was that it wasn't really suitable for kids. The location was very remote and wasn't close to any towns or attractions that would be interesting to young children.

Nothing at all.

The castle's refurbishment was impeccable, combining historic charm with modern comforts. The breathtaking views of Mull, Loch Sunart, and Ben Hiant were truly awe-inspiring. The breakfast options were delicious, especially the egg dishes. Exploring the surrounding fields was a delightful experience, with the only caution being to watch out for the cows. I highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable Scottish experience. I will definitely be recommending this hotel.

Staying in a beautifully restored castle by the sea with amazing views of the surrounding area may sound like a dream come true. the comfortable room with a four-poster bed, copper bath, and antique furnishings is an added advantage. Attentive service and delicious breakfast complete the experience.
With no signage on the road, finding the location could be a hassle.

My New Year's experience in this hotel was okay. the beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. the view from our window was breathtaking, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast variety was limited and not to our liking. We were also disappointed by the location of the hotel as it was quite isolated, and there were not many activities to partake in.

Paul
We got excellent value for our money and the room was simply amazing. The location was breathtakingly beautiful, right by the seaside. The staff at the castle treated us like royalty, always friendly and helpful.
The breakfast could have been better with a greater variety of options.

The hotel facilities, location in a fantastic castle, breakfast, and staff were all outstanding. The castle was located in an unbeatable spot on the coast, making for stunning views. The rooms were spotless and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious and filling, offering both sweet and savory options. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
Nothing, all was good.

This venue is a hidden gem, offering a luxurious experience in a remote location. the renovated castle has exclusive amenities, such as spacious and well-equipped rooms, a beautiful garden area, and a cozy bar/ lounge area with great whiskey selection. the service provided by the wonderful couple who run the hotel is exceptional, ensuring that all of our needs were fulfilled.
One minor issue was the value for money regarding the evening meal. Although the tasting menu was novel and interesting, for the cost, it may be better to concentrate on the less is more concept.
-
George
The views from the hotel were absolutely stunning, with panoramic vistas of the sea, Mull, Loch Sunart, and Ben Hiant. The location couldn't have been better for a peaceful and remote getaway. The room was comfortable and cozy, providing a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The tasting menu offered at the hotel was quite overpriced and didn't provide good value for money. While the experience was interesting, the cost didn't match up to the quality of the food.
